The approach was made to Mosimane’s camp, which is headed by his wife and agent, Moira Tlhagale. However, Mosimane’s camp has decided against a move to Kaizer Chiefs and is instead looking to remain in the Gulf region. Mosimane has opened talks with Abha Club, where he may potentially take over as the new coach.
It seems that Abha Club sees Mosimane as the man who can help them out of their current struggle against relegation. Mosimane has built a strong reputation in the Gulf region since joining Al Ahli Jeddah and later Al Wahda in the UAE in 2022. Now, the question remains as to what options Chiefs will explore, as Mosimane’s camp has rejected the opportunity to join Kaizer Chiefs.
