The father of a top pupil in Khayelitsha is a maskandi music enthusiast. During weekends, he used to spend his days playing his beloved music at his home in the Cape Town township. However, he made a decision to temporarily set aside his passion for music. Mzuvukile Madondile, aged 54, noticed that his son always seemed deeply focused on his studies, and he would only indulge in his music when his son was either out or not studying.
