Johannesburg, South Africa – February 25: Mfundo Vilakazi of Kaizer Chiefs competed in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 match against Milford FC at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Vilakazi has been the subject of messages advocating for patience as he grows and is given the freedom to express his talent at his own pace while playing for Chiefs.
Makaab, from Prosport International, currently looks after Vilakazi’s interests on and off the field and spoke highly of the young player, comparing his skills to that of former client Jabu Mahlangu, who was renowned for his talents. Makaab expressed that he had never seen another player with such innate talent and unbelievable ability on the ball until Vilakazi, describing him as one of the most exciting young players in the country in many years.
“The unbelievable skills of Mfundo Vilakazi, not because we represent him but I have to tell you. I had the fortune of representing Jabu Pule [Mahlangu] and I never thought that I would see another player with that innate talent, that unbelievable ability on the ball until I saw Mfundo Vilakazi, he is probably one of the most exciting young players I’ve seen in this country for many, many years,” he told *Gagasi FM.
