Billy Mwanza, a talented and hard-working Zambian player, made his mark in the DStv Premiership. In 2006, he joined Lamontville Golden Arrows alongside his former Power Dynamos teammate, Kalililo Kakonje. They were scouted while playing for their national team in the COSAFA Cup tournament.
Mwanza’s recommendation to join the team came from the Power Dynamos assistant coach and national U20 coach for Zambia. He described the experience as fantastic, given that Power Dynamos is one of the biggest teams in Zambia. However, he had less positive things to say about the training sessions.
