URA Football Club has announced the departure of David Obua following a series of disappointing results. Obua took over from Sam Timbe in November 2024, after Timbe’s passing in August. Along with Obua, his first assistant Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and fitness coach Kawa have also left the club.

Robert Mukasa will serve as the caretaker coach for the remainder of the season, supported by Ilic Milosh, Allan Owiny, Robert Ssentongo, and Goalkeeping Coach Swaibu Ssebagala. During his tenure at URA FC, which began in November 2023, Obua oversaw 20 matches across all competitions, securing 8 wins, 8 losses, and 4 draws.
