Thato Khiba of TS Galaxy was recently praised for his performances in a DStv Premiership match at Mbombela Stadium, South Africa. As the season is nearing its end, PSL clubs are already planning for the winter transfer window, and Khiba has attracted the attention of Gauteng clubs, particularly Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United. According to sources, both clubs are impressed with Khiba and have inquired about him.
Orlando Pirates had previously shown interest in him when he was with Marumo Gallants before they were relegated from the DStv Premiership. SuperSport United have now joined the race in pursuing Khiba. It is reported that Orlando Pirates are considering opening up space in the team for Khiba, while SuperSport United are looking to strengthen their team for the upcoming season and potential competitions, including in Africa if they qualify.
Khiba has played 11 PSL league games for TS Galaxy this season, scoring twice and providing two assists, along with participating in five cup fixtures. Soccer Laduma reached out to Pirates and SuperSport United for a comment but did not receive a response at the time of publishing.
