South African player Monnapule Saleng and Namibian player Tafari Tjiueza participated in an international friendly match between their two countries at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Citizens football team has strengthened its attack by adding Tjiueza to their roster on the closing day of the transfer window. Tjiueza is presently in Cote d’Ivoire, getting ready for the Africa Cup of Nations Last 16 tie against Angola on Saturday. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been a key player for the Namibian national team, starting in all three matches of the tournament.
