It appears that SuperSport United is expected to keep the experienced defender Thulani Hlatshwayo for at least another season. With his contract set to expire at the end of June, there have been no talks regarding a new deal. Instead, SuperSport is concentrating on finishing the season strong, as there is potential for a second-place finish and an opportunity to win the Nedbank Cup.
Hlatshwayo, who was honored as SuperSport’s Player of the Season last year, has also made a recent comeback from injury. He is diligently working to demonstrate to the management that he deserves a new contract for the upcoming season.
