The last few months have been a rollercoaster for Steve Komphela. He left Moroka Swallows amid issues of money involving the players at the club, departing under a dark cloud.
Following this, the experienced coach made a return to Golden Arrows in KZN, taking over after the club had suffered nine consecutive defeats under the then-coach Mabhuti Khenyeza. Komphela made a positive start at Arrows, but it was cut short by a 7-1 loss to Orlando Pirates.
