The club has also faced challenges off the field, including the arrest of their president and frequent changes in management. As a result, they currently hold the fifth position on the league table and recently suffered their eighth loss of the season in a 1-0 defeat to FAR Rabat.
This has left them 20 points behind in the league, making it impossible for them to qualify for the next season’s continental showpiece. This will be the first time they will miss the event since the 2014/15 season.
