Residents of Boystown in Nyanga, Cape Town, were shocked after a 17-year-old teenager was shot and killed by an e-hailing driver on Sunday morning, 7 April. Reportedly, the teen and his friends pretended to be customers to rob the Uber driver.
They managed to take the car keys and allegedly stabbed the driver in the neck. In response, the driver pulled a gun and shot one of the teenagers, resulting in his death at the scene.
