The club has named Eric Ramsay as the second head coach in Minnesota United’s Major League Soccer history. Ramsay initially served as a set-piece coach, and then continued to work on Ralf Rangnick’s staff during his interim managerial term from December 2021 to May 2022. Due to his strong work ethic and expertise, Erik ten Hag retained him after assuming the role a season and a half ago. Ramsay has now departed from Benni McCarthy and his team to join the Loons, where he will collaborate with South Africa international Hlongwane, a standout performer for the team in the past season.
