The Mataffin Community Policing Forum (CPF) made attempts to rescue a family from a violent husband on Monday, 22 April. Unfortunately, their efforts failed tragically. The husband, known as Sibiya, is alleged to have killed his wife and attempted to kill his two daughters. The 36-year-old mother was fatally stabbed following an argument over a TV set on Sunday, 21 April.
The suspect, who is still at large, reportedly took the TV set from the couple’s rented room and gave it to his makhwapheni.
