A former Maritzburg United player stole the show with a traditional dance and singing at an event. The 23-year-old was invited to an event supported by Africa Classroom Connection, an organization dedicated to improving schools in South Africa.
Hlongwane showcased his culture by performing a traditional Zulu dance called Ukusina, adding a special touch to the evening celebrating South Africa’s 30 years of democracy. This year, Freedom Day falls on a Saturday, commemorating the first post-apartheid elections held in 1994.
