The Department of Education (DEC) has accused a 57-year-old individual of using government funds deceptively to finance trips for two associates to a major event in the Ivory Coast. The associates, Madalitso Kamanga and Jairous Siame, have also been arrested, along with Reuben Kamanga, the general secretary of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ). Despite the arrests, it has been stated that there is no immediate threat of Mr. Kamanga being removed from FAZ, as the situation requires court proceedings to determine its validity.
