Eben Etzebeth, a nominee for the Sportsman of the Year award at the SA Sport Awards, recently disclosed the English club he supports, the local club he grew up cheering for, and the South African team he currently backs. He admitted to not dedicating much time to watching sports other than rugby, and reiterated his support for English Premier League team Arsenal.
Etzebeth also mentioned his childhood proximity to Ajax Cape Town, though he confessed to not watching much of the PSL. Nevertheless, he expressed his inclination towards Kaizer Chiefs as the team he would choose to support.
In a podcast, he reiterated his long-standing allegiance to Arsenal and reminisced about his fondness for Ajax Cape Town due to his close ties to the team.
