Xavi and club officials reportedly met on Wednesday night to discuss the coach’s future. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Xavi has agreed to president Joan Laporta’s “conditions” and will remain in his role. This comes after Xavi had previously stated that this season would be his last in charge. Despite his initial announcement, he has now had a change of heart.

The official announcement of Xavi’s decision is expected to be made by Barcelona this week, just before the team’s upcoming LALIGA meeting with Valencia on Monday.
