The case is believed to still be pending further disciplinary action from world football’s governing body. While they await a definitive verdict regarding that matter, the Tanzanian juggernauts have landed themselves in more hot water. The 17-cap Zambia international lodged a complaint with FIFA about not being compensated in full during his time at Yanga.
Following an investigation, the Switzerland-based body found the allegations to be true, leading to the subsequent ban. According to *The Guardian*, a statement from the Tanzanian Football Federation read, “NBC Premier League club Young Africans SC has been banned from registering players until they pay their former player Lazarus Kambole. The decision has been made by the International Football Federation (FIFA) after Kambole won his cases against the club.”
