Lehlohonolo Seema has been thriving at Sekhukhune United since his surprising departure from Polokwane City earlier in the season. When he left Polokwane City, the team was performing well, ranking sixth on the log with four wins and five draws in their first 12 matches. Following his notable progress at Sekhukhune, Seema was recently honored as the DStv Premiership Coach of the Month, while the team’s captain, Linda Mntambo, received the Player of the Month award for February/March.
In an interview with Soccer Laduma’s Masebe Qina, Seema discussed how he has been able to make an immediate impact at the club. Feeling grateful for the award, Seema emphasized that it was a team effort and gave credit to the hardworking individuals in the technical team, particularly mentioning coach MacDonald Makhubedu, and the players for their fantastic performance.
