Erik ten Hag’s future in England is uncertain, with new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his staff overseeing football matters. The club is expected to offload several players before adding new ones to the first-team squad, to recoup some of the £232 million spent on the current players.
Among those linked with potential exits are former Ajax Amsterdam winger Antony, who has disappointed since his £86 million arrival in 2022 and is still under contract until 2027. Another player facing a potential move is 21-year-old Ivorian winger Amad Diallo, who joined the club in 2021 for £19 million.
Mason Greenwood, who spent a loan spell at Getafe in LALIGA, is also expected to permanently leave the club ahead of next season. Anthony Martial, who arrived in 2015 for £45 million and then again for £73 million in 2021, has faced criticism for his lack of contributions, with only 18 goals in 82 appearances since joining.
