Youngster Tristan Nikitaridis has played in the South African league for Baroka FC and the University of Pretoria up to the end of last season. Sources revealed that Nikitaridis was set to join La Masia in the past but couldn’t due to an injury. Currently, he is linked with clubs in Cape Town as well as Magesi FM.
He has also attracted interest in Cyprus and Libya. His representatives are considering the offers from these countries. According to a source, Nikitaridis was on top of his game before his injury but is now back to training and fully fit.
Local teams were initially interested in his services, but the focus has shifted to the offers from Cyprus and Libya. Another source expressed that a move to a Cape Town club for next season seems unlikely, and the interest from Cyprus and Libya appears more feasible and may materialize at the start of the new season. Warren Swartz, the player’s agent from ProAthlete Management agency, confirmed interest from abroad but did not disclose the teams involved.
He acknowledged inquiries from both Europe and Africa and affirmed that there is indeed interest in the player. However, he stated that they cannot provide more details until something concrete materializes.
