In her new role, Dlamini is joining a star-studded list of South African sports stars. These athletes, as highlighted by the Laureus Sport SA website, are dedicated to using sport as a means to uplift youth in underserved communities. Dlamini’s addition makes her the fifth footballer to join the list of Laureus Sport For Good Foundation SA ambassadors. Notable figures on this list include her coach and Banyana legend Desiree Ellis, Amanda Dlamini, Lucas Radebe, and Dean Furman.
The announcement of Dlamini’s new role took place at the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge at The Wanderers Club.
