Kylian Mbappe has reportedly demanded to become Real Madrid’s highest-paid player. According to Spanish outlet *Cadena SER*, the Paris Saint-Germain No. 7 wants to become the club’s highest-paid player if he pens a deal with Los Blancos. It is expected Mbappe will soon reach a conclusion over his future, with his contract in Paris set to expire at the end of the season.
The publication claims the France captain wants to earn a gross salary of €50 million (R1 billion) annually, which would take him well above stars such as Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior in the club’s top earners list. The Spanish outlet adds that the former Monaco teenager would also want to retain a percentage of his image rights, with the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners reportedly willing to give him 60% of those rights. For their next match, Real Madrid will be in action at the Santiago Bernabeu against Girona, who are second on the LALIGA table, on Saturday. Are you backing Real Madrid or Girona this weekend?
