After a goalless first stanza, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Keletso Sifamo broke the deadlock for Sekhukhune with 18 minutes to go and that was enough to clinch maximum points. The Brazilians dropped down to second on the table, one point behind Stellenbosch with four games remaining. Sifiso Mazibuko scored the decisive goal for Matsatsantsa in the first stanza, from a cracker of a strike after he was assisted by Oratilwe Moloisane.
Ahshene opened the scoring for City on 17 minutes from the spot-kick and Samukele Mlaba levelled the score for Arrows on the stroke of half-time. Carelse snatched the winner for the Citizens in added time. Siphamandla Zikhali broke the deadlock for Usuthu ten minutes before the interval to clinch maximum points against their provincial rivals.
